Nokia 5230 has intuitive full touch-based user interface and vibrant 3,2? widescreen display with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels with 16:9 picture and up to 16.7 million colours. It features an easy to use music player with 33 hours of playback time.
Nokia 5230 is competitively priced at approximately Rs 8,500 Indian Rupees (INR).
The Nokia 5230 features a Media Bar with quick access to your favorite media and applications, such as music, photos, YouTube or Ovi Share.
The innovative Contacts bar features thumbnail images for up to 20 close friends and provides easy access to them and their communications history including emails, phone calls, photos or other social media updates.
You can listen to music, take photos and watch videos with Nokia 5230. Manage your tracks with the enhanced media player and Nokia Ovi Player, tune in to your favorite stations with the FM radio, and access a world of music at the Nokia Music Store.
With quick access to Ovi Store, pre-installed mobile games, and your media library, on-the-go entertainment is always just a few taps away. The Music player supports playback of MP3, MP4, AAC, eAAC+ and WMA formats and FM radio. It has integrated hands-free speakerphone.

The cellphone major Nokia is all set to launch another music phone in India. Called Nokia 5530 Xpress Music, the touch music phone will be the company’s second phone in Xpress Music series to be launched in India.
Basic Features
Nokia 5530 Xpress Music sports a 2.9 inch TFT touchscreen display, with a 360 x 640 pixel resolution. There’s also proximity sensor for automatic turn-off, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and handwriting rotation. There’s also a full-screen Qwerty key board.
Weighing 107 grams, the phone measures 4.09″ x 1.92″ x 0.51″.
Nokia 5530 Xpress Music comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash. The phone has 4X digital zoom with auto focus.

The phone also bundles a video and image editor. The phone can record at 30 frames per second (FPS) rate. Connectivity options in Nokia 5530 include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Sound
The phone features 3D surround sound and according to Nokia users can listen to music for as long as 27 hours on a single charge.
The phone also has stereo speakers and a standard 3.5 mm audio plug for headsets.
Memory
The Symbian S60 5th edition handset runs on ARM 11 434 MHz processor and has a 128MB RAM memory.
Nokia 5530 has a microSD memory card slot with hot swap, up to 16 GB (4 GB memory card included). The phone’s internal memory is 70MB.

According to reports, the phone is likely to be priced in the mid-range segment between Rs 13-14,000.
